Prior to a career in real estate sales, Nateka was employed with Fannie Mae, which proved to be the “catapult to her success“.  There, she held a position in management within the Legal Department’s Regulatory Affairs Division and served as a liaison in support of the company’s regular and special examination reviews conducted by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight (OFHEO). This engagement and exposure provided valuable insight into all segments of the housing industry and mortgage market; knowledge that she embraced and which later prepared her to be well versed as a successful Sales Consultant.

As a full-time Realtor® licensed in Washington, DC, Virginia, and Maryland, Nateka is committed to educational excellence. Through continued educational training, she remains abreast of the evolving real estate market and is able to provide her clients the tools and resources necessary to be well informed throughout their real estate transaction. To quantify her skillset, Nateka expanded her knowledge base into the luxury home market and is a member of the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing.  Here she received training in such areas as demographics of the affluent, lifestyle segmentation, trends and amenities in today’s luxury home product, and creating marketing plans for multimillion dollar properties. Recognizing the growing need for trained professionals to address the specific needs of homeowners directly impacted over recent years by the national economic meltdown.  Nateka decided to broaden her skillset and acquire additional training and education.  Achieving her designation as a Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE), Nateka has successfully assisted countless homeowners faced with unique and complex market hardships.
